For the 2023-2024 school year, the Greater Cleveland Conference will welcome and old friend back as well as welcoming a new friend.

According the the GCC website, Shaker Heights and Cleveland Heights have accepted invitations to join the conference starting the 2023-2024 school year.

Both teams play in the Lake Erie League currently. Shaker Heights left the GCC in 2020, but will make its return to the GCC after a three year hiatus.
