Midpark wrestling team (1-0) seized a 40-31 road victory at Olmsted Falls Thursday evening.

The Titans registered bonus points in five bouts, highlighted by Pino Dipierro’s first-period fall in 0:54 seconds at 120 pounds. Jimmy Paletta (182 lbs) garnered a second-period fall to start the match. Juniors Shane Heil (126 lbs) and Zach Porch (195 lbs) picked up major decisions over their opponents and senior Caden Wendling recorded a second period tech fall at 138 pounds.

Additional Titan victors included Daniel Yu (285 lbs), Austin Neel (106 lbs) and Brian Kennedy (113 lbs).

UP NEXT
The Titans will travel to Independence High School Friday and Saturday for the North Coast Classic Wrestling Tournament. Action gets underway at 3 p.m. on Friday.
