SOT Featured Game: Holy Name Green Wave vs Elyria Catholic Panthers

By Sean Duffy

Elyria, OH- It all comes down to this, the Great Lakes Conference championship game. The East Division Champion is the Holy Name Green Wave (6-2, 5-0) who are looking to keep rolling after their Week 9 victory over Buckeye. The West Division Champion is Elyria Catholic Panthers (7-1, 5-0), They have been on a roll since their overtime loss to Sandusky Perkins. These two teams are no strangers to each other as they met in a cross division match up in Week 4, in which the Panthers got the 28-14 victory. can the Green Wave avenge that loss when it matters most? Or will the Panthers reign supreme as Great Lakes Conference Champion?

Holy Name got off to a hot start scoring on their opening drive as Senior QB Jayvon Williams connected with Adrian Wondolowski for a 25 yd TD pass. The Namers jumped out to a 7-0 lead early in the first quarter.
